Context



Yahoo DSP ranks among the top three DSP advertising platforms in the industry, but with 80% of its revenue from the top 100 advertisers, revealing untapped potential in the small business sector. Our goal is to enhance our core strengths, making the platform even more powerful for big clients, while broadening the customer base to grow more small businesses. I led the design of the DSP ad campaign planning and management for big advertisers, and an incubated ad product for SMB customers.

Ads Builder - Creating ads has never been this easy

As the only designer, I defined and designed the entire incubated ad product for SMB advertisers. After launched, I led the iterations in acquisition, activation, and retention, which drove the overall product growth. Finally migrated it to the bigger Native ad platform and increased the conversion rate by 284%.

Media Planner - Plan an ad campaign from zero

I proposed the idea of Media Planner, helping advertisers to quickly discover cross-channel opportunities and get a campaign running. I initiated the idea, convinced my manager and gathered a team of another designer and UXR. Came up with the entire vision and strategy. Pitched to VPs to get resources. Launched the MVP.

Unified TV Report

I spearheaded the design of the Unified TV Report, enabling advertisers to gain a comprehensive view across Linear and Digital TV. This insight allows for the optimization of TV advertising strategies. The project was in collaboration with VIZIO Ads and Nielsen.
